On Friday 5th of October renowned family run Persian carpet specialists Bakhtiyar will be launching their second shop, Bakhtiyar Bazaar, on Stockbridge High Street. Step into Bakhtiyar Bazaar and you will be transported into the middle of a bustling Persian bazaar filled with gorgeous wonders gathered from across the vast terrains of Persia. With every step and turn you will walk deeper into an Aladdin’s cave filled with a collection of colourful and eclectic hand-knotted nomadic and tribal kilims, carpets, saddlebags, runners and more.

Whilst Bakhtiyar on the opposite side of the High Street will continue to focus on the exclusive, ultra rare and unusual pieces that it is internationally famed for, Bakhtiyar Bazaar will focus more on those everyday magical Persian and Oriental delights.

Bakhtiyar Bazaar’s stock will be exclusively sourced by renowned Persian carpet specialist Masoud Mazaheri-Asadi and his two sons Koroush and Darius, using their combined years of experience, taste and expertise. The shop will be stocked with a wide range of items at affordable prices, starting from as little as £35 for a hand-knotted Persian kilim.
